Welcome to A Path to Harmony Counseling – Your Journey to Renewed Connection and Personal Growth!
At A Path to Harmony Counseling, we understand the diverse paths of human experience. Life’s journey often weaves moments of joy and pain, leaving us feeling adrift or profoundly connected. Yet, when that connection falters, when distance replaces closeness, we’re here to guide you back to harmony.
As humans we encounter countless paths – some filled with happiness, others with sorrow. They overlap, creating intricate webs that can leave us feeling lost and alone. But finding someone to share this journey with, someone to be open and vulnerable with, can make the path more manageable.
When that connection weakens, when that space feels unfamiliar and daunting, seeking guidance is a brave step towards renewal.
At A Path to Harmony Counseling we specialize in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach that illuminates relationship dynamics and fosters understanding. Picture a 90-minute session where partners explore shared experiences, strengths, and growth areas. Following this, personalized individual sessions allow us to understand you both as a couple and as unique individuals.
Our focused 75-minute couples therapy sessions become a cornerstone of our journey together. We slow down the relational cycle, decode patterns, and guide you towards reigniting connection and function as a harmonious, loving team.
Join us on this journey toward renewed connection and personal growth. Let’s navigate the complexities together, guiding you towards a thriving relationship and a deeper sense of self.
Your path to renewed connection and personal growth starts here, at A Path to Harmony Counseling.

About Me
Hi, I’m Halley
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the states of Colorado and Missouri. I grew up in Texas, and always felt a passion to help people. Although my childhood dreams of being a Ninja Turtle were dashed, I continued to embrace my calling of helping others and learned that the way that made me most fulfilled was by listening. My studies began in Nacogdoches with my undergraduate degree in general psychology and continued with my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in Denver, Colorado. In my clinical internship I helped spearhead a Family Therapy program at the Denver Salvation Army. Despite initial work in addictions, and later with children, I found that my calling was in helping couples navigate difficult experiences. Over my years in private practice, I began to specialize in working with couples and helping them learn to find the rhythm between each other once more.
I have been described as a warm, compassionate, and genuine therapist. Caring deeply about the people that I am working with, I often using humor and imagery to deepen experience, understanding, and connection. I work to meet people where they are at and utilize that understanding to strengthen and stabilize the bonds within a relationship. In individual counseling work, this means that I work to “get in the sandbox” with each individual’s experience, and explore the challenges that create distress in their lives.
The primary therapeutic modality that I utilize in my work is Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I am also certified to utilize the Prepare-Enrich Assessment for Premarital Counseling.
As an individual outside of the office, I enjoy a number of different things in my spare time including reading, writing, and playing video games with my husband and two sons.
